| This is pretty much one of my favorite poems of all time. by Alexander Pushkin. The wondrous moment of our meeting... I well remember you appear Before me like a vision fleeting, A beauty's angel pure and clear.
In hopeless ennui surrounding The worldly bustle, to my ear For long your tender voice kept sounding, For long in dreams came features dear.
Time passed. Unruly storms confounded Old dreams, and I from year to year Forgot how tender you had sounded, Your heavenly features once so dear.
My backwoods days dragged slow and quiet -- Dull fence around, dark vault above -- Devoid of God and uninspired, Devoid of tears, of fire, of love.
Sleep from my soul began retreating, And here you once again appear Before me like a vision fleeting, A beauty's angel pure and clear.
In ecstasy the heart is beating, Old joys for it anew revive; Inspired and God-filled, it is greeting The fire, and tears, and love alive.

| Someone once said: 'if all the lawyers in the world were placed around the equator, end to end.. We'd all be better off.' How true is that?? | | |
| Well, here I am again. My trip out here has flown by, as wished. I'll be heading home in about 2 more weeks. Then it's just a hop, skip, and a jump to Robbie coming home. Sort of. Robbie won't be home for another 6 weeks after I get back to KY. But i've got a few things coming up that should make it go by much faster. Joy!! For the skeptical, non-believers... *If you're right and God doesn't exist, you have nothing worry about. If I'm right and He does exist, you better get saved* | | |
| hi everyone!! I've been in Washington for a few days now...and i must say, i understand why there are so many depressed people in Seattle.. Phew..It's cold, usually pretty wet, and constantly overcast. The sun shows it's face in rare displays of warmth that are quickly shrouded again. Anyway, I'm just having a nice visit with Leasia while Robbie is away...but as much as i love my sister...i'd really like my trip out here to fly by...Because i want Robbie to come home... | | |
